Kate Middleton and Prince Louis take a sweet moment caught on camera at the “Together at Christmas” concert.
Pictures of the Welsh family arriving at the “Together At Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey flooded the royal favorite corner of the Internet earlier this month, but reports from inside the concert to be broadcast on Christmas Eve were scarce.
That changed at least a little this week when ITV released the first video from inside the concert. The footage shows British actress Sophie Okonedo reading a poem titled “The Kindness Of Trees” to attendees, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children.
The clip may not contain much royal footage, but it does include a sweet moment that Kate Middleton shared with her youngest son, Prince Louis, during the event.
In the footage of the crowd listening to Ms. Okonedo's reading, the Daily Mail reports that the 6-year-old prince “appeared to be watching his mother Kate's reaction. Kate seemed to sense that Louis was looking at her, and he quickly looked back at her and smiled.
The mother-son pair shared a positive loving gaze for a few moments before Kate returned her gaze to Okonedo.
This was not Louis' only touching moment at the “Together at Christmas” carol service; a sweet note he wrote to place on the “Kindness Tree” set up outside Westminster Abbey for the occasion immediately after the December 6 concert became a major talking point when royal fans noticed that the young royal could be read in full in some photos of the event.
“Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for playing games with me,” he wrote on the kind tree note, referring to his maternal grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
Prince Louis also made headlines after the concert when Kate revealed that the 6-year-old prince had kept a secret to help his mother pull off a big surprise for his older sister, Princess Charlotte, a big fan of ballet.
“Louis knew the dancers and we talked about it over tea,” the 6-year-old asked, “What's the secret?” I asked. Kate explained in a video shared by Sky News on TikTok. 'Because I want it to be a surprise for Charlotte, who loves ballet. He said he would promise not to say anything”
.
We'll have to wait until the full concert airs on Christmas Eve (fingers crossed) to see if the youngest member of the Welsh family had any other adorable viral moments during the “Together at Christmas” carol service.
