As an NFL player, the holidays are at the mercy of your schedule. While he was able to spend Thanksgiving with his girlfriend Taylor Swift and her family, it is unclear if Christmas will follow the same game plan. In a new episode of his podcast New Heights, Travis Kelce discussed his upcoming Christmas plans and revealed that he will be spending the holiday on the football field.

On the December 18 episode, the Super Bowl champion, along with his brother Jason Kelcey, discussed the Kansas City Chiefs' busy schedule. I'm excited,” the Chiefs tight end said after revealing that they will play the Pittsburgh Steelers on a special Netflix Christmas show. However, he quipped that his “body is not that excited” about playing on both Saturday, December 21, and Christmas, which falls on Wednesday.

“I'll play anywhere, anytime,” he said. I cherish every time I get to play on this field.”

Swift cheered on her boyfriend last year at the Christmas Day game at Arrowhead Stadium, but since this year's matchup is an away game, it is unclear if she will head to Pittsburgh.

“She knows the venue and isn't going anywhere unless she has thoroughly scouted and secured it beforehand,” a source previously told Page Six.

However, a source recently told US Weekly that “Swift plans to spend Christmas with her and the Kells family and hopes to ring in the New Year in a low-key, restful manner.” The Chiefs players are needed in Pennsylvania on the 25th, so the two's holiday plans will likely need to be modified at least a bit.

As for Swift, some fans wonder if she will make a cameo appearance in “New Heights” after the vacations.

Jason teased a guest host for the podcast episode scheduled for January 2, stating that it was someone fans had “requested” and that the Kelsey brothers “finally” had a guest on board.

Travis kept a poker face for most of the announcement, but “Oh yeah! he exclaimed, eventually smiling when Jason said “you'll want to see” who the mystery guest would be.

Perhaps Swift would jump on board to sum up their Christmas.
