As most women know, when you've been friends for as long as Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton have, you're not just friends, you're basically sisters. That is exactly how two longtime friends feel about each other.

“Paris and I are more like sisters than a standard friendship. 'We've lived each other's lives for as long as I can remember, since we were two years old. So this is life itself, and it was really exciting to be filming this show again. It's great.”

The pair reunited on screen for “Paris & Nicole, Encore,” a sequel to the iconic reality series “The Simple Life.” The series follows the two women as they transform “Sanasa” into an operatic number.

As Hilton said, “I feel so lucky just to have a lifelong friendship like ours.

Friends since the age of two, Hilton and Richie have seen each other through different stages of their lives, and although they fell out a bit in their 20s, they are excited to tackle this new chapter of motherhood together.

As Ritchie says, “With a friendship that has lasted this long, you see each other through all stages of life. Being a mother is another stage.”

“We've been through everything in life together since we were little babies,” Hilton says. 'I'm so proud of how much we've grown and everything we've gone through in life. It has truly made us incredibly strong, resilient, amazing women.
