Jamie Lee Curtis Says Holiday Season is “Scrooge's Slutty Sister”

Who doesn't get a little Scrooge-y every once in a while? That's because Jamie Lee Curtis also gets a little yucky sometimes during the Christmas season.

“I'm Scrooge's little slutty sister,” the actress joked during a visit to “The View” on Friday, December 20, 2024, after handing out gifts (from her charity) to “The View” hosts.

“Excuse me?” Curtis joked to host Joy Behar, to which Curtis replied, exasperated, “Hey!” Curtis replied.

Curtis, star of “The Last Showgirls” and the upcoming “Freaky Friday,” explained that she is “a little Scrooge-ish” because of what she calls her “holiday industrial complex. So I'm kind of fed up with it."

She added, ”I've been doing it for a long time.

And, really, there are a lot of (good!) people Who among us hasn't felt that way when the pressure to buy gifts kicks in the door and the overwhelming need to perform the service of the “perfect gift giver” grows?

She also spoke about the upcoming “Freaky Friday” sequel and how it took her so long to reunite with her co-star Lindsay Lohan. 11]

“I've always loved her from then until now, [but] what really happened was that Lindsay Lohan was 15 year old is now old enough to be the mother of a 15-year-old child. ...... In order to make a sequel to Freaky Friday, Lindsay had to have a teenager yell at her like she yelled at me."

Curtis is an inspiration for many reasons, but it is refreshing to see him living up to Hollywood's expectations and prolonging his career.

As she said in an interview, “At 60, if not now, when, and if not me, who?” became stronger, and the idea that she needed to manifest her work for herself.

It was this idea that led her to become a producer on her new dark comedy, The Sticky. She said, “Sometimes you have to create your own opportunities, instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you.

“You know what you are' A delight!” Behar quipped before this section was over. To this I can only agree.
