The Outer Banks” Season 4, Part 2: Everything We Know

In March 2023, the Season 3 finale of “The Outer Banks” briefly heralded a more mundane and sober time for the Porgs, who, after discovering the treasures of El Dorado, put aside danger and adventure to enjoy the good life. But the clique's risk-taking behavior (as well as unbreakable bonds and unbeatable potential) is entwined in the DNA of Netflix's must-see TV series, and the new season should up the ante. Season 4 of “The Outer Banks” delivers, and by the end of the first five episodes, John B. (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madeline Klein), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Davis) and Cleo (Carasia Grant) are Blackbeard's fortune treasure hunt and face a new death-defying scenario, while JJ (Rudy Pankow) deals with a major identity crisis.

OBX fans will have little to wait for after these massive cliffhangers, as Season 4 follows in the footsteps of many of Netflix's most popular shows with a two-part release. When will Season 4, Part 2 of Outer Banks hit Netflix?

Netflix has confirmed that Outer Banks Season 4, Part 2 will be released on Thursday, November 7, 2024. The second half of the season will be streamed at 3:00 AM EST (12:00 AM GMT).

This means that we will have to wait almost a full month for the Pogue adventure to continue.

Fans can expect five more episodes when Season 4 Part 2 is streamed; Netflix has confirmed that the fourth installment will consist of 10 episodes, with the first half of the season arriving on October 10.

“The Outer Banks” Season 4 Part 1 spoilers ahead. As teased in the fast-forward to the Season 3 finale, Pogue is able to bring Pogelandia 2.0 back to life after returning to North Carolina with the Eldorado treasure. Their bait, tackle, and boat tour store on the Maybank property is successful for a while - but when they run out of money too quickly (mainly because of JJ), they find an amulet that belonged to Blackbeard's wife Elizabeth in exchange for $50,000, which Wes Jenrette ( David Jensen) will have to take on the job.

Wes dies while searching Blackbeard's ship, but before he does, he leaves a letter for JJ and reveals a big secret: JJ's father is not Luke (Gary Weeks), but Larissa Jenrette (Tommy Rose) is JJ's biological mother, Cook's husband Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane) is JJ's biological father, and Wes is his grandfather.

After this bombshell, part 2 of season 4 is expected to focus on unraveling the night of Larissa's death and how Luke came to raise JJ. Between Chandler's big bad vibe and the Jennette family curse, JJ is in more danger than ever before in OBX history.

If this secret bloodline intrigue isn't enough, part one of season four also ends on the side of the Pogues losing the treasure hunt (two people are in mortal danger). Mercenaries Lightner (Rigo Sanchez) and Daria (Pollyanna McIntosh) escape with Blackbeard's scroll after John B. chooses not to shoot them, and by the time the credits roll, Sarah and Pope are still stuck in an underground crypt with a rising water table.

They will probably make it out alive (Pogue firmly believes they are invincible) - but if the group decides to go after Lightner for the treasure and to avenge Terrance's (Terrance Rosemore) death, they may not be safe from here. This month needs to pass quickly.
