Are “Love is Blind” Season 7's Hannah Giles and Nick Dorka still dating?

“Love is Blind” Season 7 Episodes 1-6 spoilers ahead. For years, “Love is Blind” viewers have been asking for the Netflix reality show “Love is Blind” to feature an older cast, and it looks like their wish has been granted. Most of the “Love is Blind” Season 7 cast fiancées are in their 30s (a possible echo of the recent “Love is Blind: UK”): 27-year-old Hannah Giles and 29-year-old Nick Dolka.

Nick, a well-spoken former football player, is immediately smitten with Hannah, a self-described country girl who worked in medical equipment sales before quitting her job to go to LIB. But the pod's biggest love triangle and lingering doubts get in the way early on. As Season 7's October 23 finale approaches, fans are wondering if Hannah and Nick will say “I do” at the altar (or even make it to the wedding). Below is a timeline of Hannah and Nick's relationship in “Love is Blind” Season 7 and whether they are still together after the show ends.

Nick's intro in season 7 can be summed up in two words: smooth talker. (He leads off the episode by saying that he was a kicker and punter in college. Hannah, on the other hand, can fit in the banter and tells us that she was a small-town West Virginia girl and a cheerleader who dated the quarterback in high school. According to the show's edit, Nick quickly becomes infatuated with Hannah, but she makes a connection with him and art dealer Leo Braudy.

Even outside of that Leo, Hannah is reserved with Nick. She points out that Nick always says the right thing. At one point she says, “Yeah, he's sulking, but he's probably going to ruin my life,” and the other women get the same vibe. After Nick and Hannah have another superficial date (where they discuss their celebrity aspirations and Nick says he looks like a less buff Henry Cavill), Hannah's suspicions start to get through. Hannah worries that Nick's talkativeness is masking a manipulative side, and she fears that he is a “natural flirt.” She doesn't want to sleep without makeup around him, and one of the women she talks to calls it a “walking red light.”

On their next date, Hannah voices her concerns and asks Nick why he is in the pod. She seems to have walls, but finally tells him that she is worried that he only likes her because he thinks she is sexy. She admits that weight is a big insecurity factor for her and that she now has enough “gut feelings” about Nick.

Then, shortly after breaking up with Nick, Hannah accidentally learns that her other connection, Leo, is in a serious relationship with Brittany, an esthetician. At the beginning of the second episode, Hanna instantly regrets and attributes all the conflict to the confusion, and asks Nick for another date. They spoke again and were able to touch on deeper details. Nick admitted that he was hurt when she broke up with him, and she said that she was influenced by others' evaluations of him and hurt him before he hurt her. From there, the two talk about adjusting to the future after Nick realizes he can't join the NFL, and Hannah confides in him about her weight history and why his bikini jokes had a big impact on her. A short time later, the two exchange the words “I love you” and everything seems set for an engagement (aside from the drama when Hannah tries to break up with her other lover before Leo and Brittany get engaged).

After settling things with Leo and Hannah, Nick and Hannah propose sweetly, but nervously, toasting the Dorka family. The in-person unveiling, however, is more awkward. Hannah seemed to have an idea of what Nick looked like (whether she was talking about football or comparing him to Cavil), and it turns out he was not what she expected. He is not “really tiny,” as she feared in her confession, but he is a little shorter than she is in heels. After they met, she said in her testimony that Nick's account of entering the pod “wasn't really true.”

A little background: earlier, another cast member, David, told Leo in the men's lounge that he and Hannah were dating quite seriously and that she was his no. 1, but that she “cut him off” when she found out he was only 5'7” tall. (She is also tall, so it is understandable that Hannah is concerned about his height and feels she is bigger than him. The socialization that men = big and women = small is difficult to overcome. (She also says that men can be masculine because of their height, which is true.) But it is hard to see her body language towards him during the exposure and how he looks back at her when they leave and she doesn't look back at him.

And then there is the now famous duck incident. After Nick and Hannah's first night in Mexico goes well (most memorably, when the two discuss the possibility of Hannah getting a boob job after she has the baby), Hannah gets the itch from Nick on a plastic duck.

Hanging out by the pool, Nick asks to ride a life-size toy duck, and when he goes alone, a random woman approaches and competes with him. When Hannah calls Nick back, the woman jokingly exclaims, “Don't be jealous.” Nick laughs and races with her. When Nick says that Hannah still loves him after the duck, she says, “Maybe so.”

The two joke about ducks, but not about ducks. Remember that Hannah used to be nervous about marrying a man who was born to be a flirt. Nick even brings up the possibility that she was jealous of a random woman, but Hannah keeps her cool. Fast forward to the party where they meet the other couple, and they seem fine. The two joke with each other about keeping the sex talk low-key on camera. However, when Hannah is talking to the woman, she admits that she was upset about the duck (while at the same time slightly exaggerating her interaction with the woman). Meanwhile, Nick tells the guys that Hannah found a list of 8-10 red flags for him. The list includes, “I'm too into his feelings. Maturity. Dedication. Confident vs. cocky.” Delulu.

By the time they finally talk about the list (still in the middle of the party), both men are eager to make the other understand why they were hurt. Hannah admits that she was disgusted by his giggling when the woman was “swearing,” but Nick says it was “pointless and meaningless.” Hannah says she can see his point, but still felt disrespectful in that moment. We also don't see her answer (if she even answered) when Nick asks her if she really thinks he's delusional.

Back in the suite, they take the list out of the trash and rehash the duck thing again. In the final scene of episode 6, Nick tells Hannah, “I'm not the only one who's delusional.”

It is safe to say that viewers of “Love is Blind” (or at least all viewers on the Internet) are not sure that Taylor and Nick will make it past the altar. In the season preview, Nick tells Hannah's parents that he wants to take care of her and marry her, but all hell breaks loose at what appears to be a pod squad reunion party. Nick is shown chatting and getting close to fellow cast member Katie, who tells him that he is “so beautiful and deep.” When Nick tries to ask, “Are we mature enough?” Hannah interjects, “You're grown up enough, Nick.” Yes, the odds don't look good.

As a social media clue as to whether they are still dating, Nick and Hannah follow each other on Instagram as of the season 7 premiere. Nick's Instagram is devoted to his real estate business, so there is no hint of a secret joint vacation. Also, for their respective behind-the-scenes photos from Season 7, Nick has stuck to boy photos and Hannah has stuck to girl photos; we'll have to wait for the October 23 finale to find out what happened between the two.
