Madeleine Petsch is best known for her portrayal of bad girl Cheryl Blossom on the CW's hit show Riverdale. Both have a fiery presence and an undeniable confidence that rings through the room, but Petsch's aesthetic is more minimal, from the way she wears her makeup to the way she styles her hair.

"I really love Cheryl's bold makeup, but I don't wear very bold makeup in my personal life. As much as I would love to incorporate her look, her bold lipstick kind of makes me more like Cheryl."

Her hair (yes, those gorgeous waves!) Because it's so low maintenance: "My hair is really weird. My hair is really weird, it can respond perfectly to one product one day and then hate it the next. So I have to constantly switch things up and trick my hair into not knowing what's coming next," she explains. 'Other than that, I try to keep my hair simple. Honestly, I tend to wear my hair in a bun all day long."

Her holy grail beauty products are Conair Unbound Cordless Auto-Curler (opens in new tab) and Charlotte Tilbury Powder (opens in new tab). 'The Unbound is something I carry with me all the time. I keep it charged and use it on the plane. And Charlotte Tilbury Powder is something I've been using for five years."

But the "Unbound" is a "new tab" that is not a new tab, and is not a new product.

But she has at least one major cosmetic regret. 'But I haven't drawn my eyebrows in a really long time. 'If I don't draw my eyebrows, I don't look pretty for a redhead. 'My forehead is so long it looks like I have no eyebrows. When I look back at pictures from high school, I'm like, 'Don't let it see the light of day! I'm like, 'Don't let it see the light of day!

While it may be hard to imagine the Riverdale star without her thick, perfectly groomed eyebrows, her confession will be a comfort to those of us who have had periods of over-plucked brows or traumatic bob haircuts in the past.

In a YouTube makeup tutorial she makes in her free time, Petsch reveals that Pacifica Stunning Brow Gel in a golden brown shade (opens in new tab) is her brow savior. She says, "I haven't done much to my brows lately, other than using this product. If I were stranded on a desert island and could only take one thing with me, it would be this product," she says.

If you just want to change the color of your brows, use a tinted brow gel; brushing it upward at a 45-degree angle (not straight up) will add color to the arch and keep it in place all day. Spoolie applicators are good for more control over small rogue hairs.

To fill in gaps and sparse areas, opt for an ultra-fine pencil that allows you to draw small lines that mimic the brow hairs. Choose an extra-fine pencil that allows you to draw small lines that mimic your eyebrows.

If you want to do more than shading (completely reshape), choose a pencil with a triangular tip. Sketch the shape you want to draw with the pointed tip and fill in completely with the bottom of the triangle.
