24 hours in space with astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Mir

When NASA astronaut Christina Koch returned to Earth in February after a record-breaking 328 days in space, the world was mesmerized by the amazing feat Koch had accomplished. Not only did she break Astronaut Peggy Whitson's record for stays in space, but she and her friend and current resident of the International Space Station, Astronaut Jessica Mir, were the first women-only spacewalkers in history.

Marie Claire's Women & Space package explores the convergence of women and the space program, meeting women who want to walk on Mars and investigating the top jobs held by women at NASA. In the video, you'll learn how these women wash their hair (no running water!) ), to how they exercise, to what dinner is like in microgravity (hint: lots of floating objects are involved).
