The Bachelor, with its somewhat clichéd name: The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable-Ever (opens in new tab), gives us a little bachelor fix (opens in new tab) at a time when many reality shows are on hiatus. ), which gives us a little something to look forward to. For my part, I couldn't be more grateful: a look back at the most dramatic season in the show's history would be a good primer on what I've missed. (Opens in a new tab) (I started with Colton Underwood, which means there's a lot of drama related to the show.) Where were you when Ben Frasinic proposed to Courtney Robertson? There really is something for everyone. No spoiler warnings are necessary - unless, of course, you've never seen the season, in which case you're spoiling an older season. But there's Google, too.

According to Variety (opens in new tab), the series will begin June 8, 2020, will consist of 10 episodes, and will be hosted by (who else?) Chris Harrison. To quote the synopsis ahead of time:

"Each three-hour episode will cover a full season from the dating show's archives and will feature the most harrowing rose ceremonies, passionate proposals, unexpected new arrivals, dramatic meltdowns, biggest breakups, and focus on some of the most romantic moments."

Into it. It's hard to find old seasons, and fans have been clamoring for a full catalog for some time, so this feels like a good concession.

Claire Crawley is our (open in new tab) Bachelorette (open in new tab), so Bachelor in Paradise (raccoon alert! (open in new tab)) and Winter Games (open in new tab), get ready to watch the seasons she's been on. But nothing beats Juan Pablo Galavis as The Bachelor (opens in new tab)-which served as an introduction to Crowley and how awful a person Galavis was (allgedly).

And now, let me cast my vote for Rachel Lindsay's season. It was historic, it was hard to watch, it changed our understanding of the show, and it featured one of my absolute favorite Bachelorettes.
