Prime Minister Johnson referred to environmental activists with the condescending term "bunny hogging."

Johnson addressed a virtual climate summit hosted by President Joe Biden this week, and according to a report in the Guardian (opens in new tab), Johnson... . called for a bizarre call to action." Bunny haggling "or however you want to describe it, it is essential for all of us to show that this is not all about expensive, politically correct, environmentally friendly actions," he said, adding, "Bunny haggling is not a bad thing, but you know what I mean. Samberg gave powerful testimony yesterday (Earth Day) before the House Oversight Committee condemning subsidies for fossil fuel producers. Biden recently announced a tax plan to gut these subsidies while offering new initiatives for clean energy producers, reports the New York Times (opens in new tab).
