Keanu Reeves is smitten with girlfriend Alexandra Grant.

Reeves took Grant as his date to the December 16 Los Angeles premiere of the film Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

While there, he chatted with Entertainment Tonight about whether this counts as “date night,” and his answer will literally melt you.

“I think it does! Yes, I do! I got all dressed up. It's very exciting and a little nerve-wracking in the car, but out there, I don't know what it is, but there's something really special about being side by side.”

When asked about his reaction to seeing Grant's red carpet outfit for the first time, he began to sing almost prayerfully and mimicked spreading a heart with his hands.

“My heart... . open,” he said. Are you kidding?

Reeves and Grant, a Los Angeles-based visual artist, first met at a dinner party in 2009 and have been dating publicly since 2019.

The two stay relatively out of the public eye, but whenever they walk out together or talk about each other, it is absolutely the sweetest thing that has ever happened.

In September 2023, Grant told People how beautiful their relationship is. 'He's such an inspiration to me. 'He's so creative, so sweet. He's very creative, very sweet.

Even better, she said her art has infused her with a newfound happiness over the past few years.

“When I visited the studio a few years ago, a very kind, very level-headed person said to me, ‘I can see your work has made you happier,’” she explained. ' It's true. We are all human beings. We are animals. We express ourselves from where we are and we feel happier. I think my work is happier. No. 2 cried.

The two are often seen together at art-centric events, including the UCLA Hammer Museum Gala in May, the MOCA Museum Gala in April, and the LACMA Museum Gala last November. Grant is a visual artist.
