The Yeti Courts trend has found a new victim, or rather muse, in Miley Cyrus, who, in a photo she shared on Instagram on December 17, appeared to be previewing her upcoming visual album, clad only in shiny bare feet and a fluffy brown statement jacket.

and seemed to be previewing her upcoming visual album.

Styled by Bradley Kenneth and photographed by Thistle Brown, the pop legend looked tanned, wild, and ready to enter the next era, wearing a camel wool pea coat and a tonal shearling stole. Taken from McQueen's pre-spring/summer 2025 collection, the curly mane matched her long honey blonde hair. It was sexy and primal, like the hairy humanoid creatures said to haunt the Himalayas.

Cyrus also appeared on Harper's Bazaar's podcast “The Good Buy” in November wearing a 70s-inspired tipped faux fur Yeti coat from Ferragamo's Resort 2025 collection. However, she is not the only celebrity embracing the trend.

Earlier this month, Selena Gomez built her engagement outfit around a shaggy ivory jacket; in November, Hailey Bieber wore a chocolate brown Rode Cinnamon Roll lip tint campaign with Ducie Mongolian sheepskin maxi-coat. Rihanna is also a big fan of the snowman aesthetic and wore several Yeti coats when she attended The Daily Front Row's 11th Annual Fashion Media Awards during New York Fashion Week in September, and this week Mariah Carey's Christmas concert tour in Brooklyn this week.

Of course, perhaps the most fitting embodiment of the Yeti coat trend is Miley Cyrus. A week before this episode was released, the Grammy Award-winner gave an extensive profile in an interview to Bazaar, including details about her upcoming first visual album, Something Beautiful, which will be released in 2025. The singer called the visual language of the project “hypnotic and glamorous,” and the films that inspired it, including the 2018 heavy metal alien cult horror film “Mandy” and the Pink Floyd musical film “The Wall (The Wall),” he said. What better way to prepare for the intense album cycle ahead than to get under the skin of a mythical monster?
