Fans are speculating that Swift will be a guest on Travis and Jason Kells' “New Heights” podcast in January, after the brothers announced that a “very special” guest will appear on the January 2 episode. And that “special” guest, they say, is the one their listeners have been “asking for” for a long time.

“We've been waiting for this for a long time,” Jason explained, and Travis grinned. Since the Kansas City Chiefs tight end began dating Swift in 2023, the brothers' podcast's audience grew as Swift lovers tuned in eagerly for a mention of the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer.

And with Travis' repeated mentions of his famous girlfriend on his podcast, Swift's influx of viewers makes sense. In fact, Travis mentioning Swift's name in his podcast is part of their origins as a couple.

Travis, who attended the Eras tour in July 2023, revealed on an episode of “New Heights” that he tried unsuccessfully to connect with Swift on the show.

“Well, I was disappointed that she didn't speak before or after the show because I had to save my voice for the 44 songs she sings,” he said on a podcast at the time (per Us Weekly).

“So I was a little disappointed that I couldn't give her the bracelet I made for her.”

He further explained that he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it.

“I got a lot of them, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he explained.

Swift confirmed that telling the story on the podcast caught her attention when she spoke briefly about the relationship in a TIME Person of the Year interview in 2023.
