Nicolas Coughlan Recreates Iconic Battle of Vanderpump on Instagram

Lady Whistledown, rumor for the newsletter: Nicolas Coughlan's obsession with Vanderpump Rules runs so deep, she's willing to fight for it.

The Bridgerton actress shared a roundup of her (very full and awesome) year in pictures on Instagram on Friday, December 20, which included a snap of her and some friends recreating one of the iconic back alley fights of the Bravo series on SUR.

The sixth photo in the post included an image of the actress visiting a restaurant in September 2024, where she and her friends Rebecca Roman and Rebecca Usher headed to the infamous back alley of SUR, the site of several battles in the series.

In May, Coughlan explained on the TODAY show that “Vanderpump Rules” was her “emotional anchor show” while simultaneously filming her Tubi series “Big Mood” with Bridgerton. The experience left her “brain fried to a crisp,” but the 10 seasons of the iconic series proved to be the perfect anecdote for her hectic work schedule.

“It's the perfect reality show,” she insisted.

In a recreation of “Vanderpump Rules,” Coughlan sits in an alley, looking frustrated and confused, motioning with her hands in an irritated manner.

It's a very silly and perfect picture of a woman we've loved and admired since our Derry Girls days:

Of course, Coughlan's fans will know that she has long professed her love of the Bravo-Vars show, and that “Real Housewives” was inspired many of the songs she wrote “exclusively for gay men,” and even inadvertently wrote and released a song paying homage to it. As she tells and sings in the song, it is her “dream job” to do so herself.

The song began as a viral interview moment, but ultimately produced the kind of dance track she dreamed of, bringing her love of Bravo full circle in yet another fun way.

And because she really is a queen (sorry, Charlotte), she donated the song's proceeds to charities Not a Phase and the Trevor Project.

Now all that's left is for Coughlan to make her own signature dish at Ariana Madix's sandwich store, Something About Her. Next trip to LA?
