Blake Lively's sister, Justin Baldoni, supports her in lawsuit
Robin Lively is supporting her younger siblings in the wake of news of the actress' lawsuit against “It Ends with Us” co-star Justin Baldoni. Robin posted a series of screenshots from a New York Times report in August about the crisis publicity management team Baldoni hired. 'FINALLY justice for my sister @BlakeLively,' Robin wrote. She also shared a link to the Times article, along with a GIF of a heart around her sister's name.
The Times report also included an email allegedly sent by Melissa Nathan, the crisis manager accused of launching a “smear campaign” against Lively. The “Gossip Girl” star also accused Baldoni of inflicting “severe emotional distress” on her on the set of “It Ends with Us.
In addition to Robin's Instagram story, Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends with Us, has also spoken out in support of Lively's lawsuit. Hoover said of Lively, “From the day we met, you have been honest, kind, cooperative, and patient. 'Thank you for being who you are. Never change. Never wilt. The author also shares a link to the Times report.
On Baldoni's side, the director's attorney denies the allegations in Lively's lawsuit. Attorney Brian Friedman told TMZ that the allegations are “false, outrageous, and intentionally obscene with the intent to publicly injure.”
Meanwhile, Lively also released a statement to the Times, which her sister included in a screenshot she shared on Instagram. The actress said, “I hope my legal action will help bring an end to these sinister retaliatory tactics that hurt those who speak out about misconduct and help protect others who may be targeted.”
