Jennifer Lopez single-handedly revives the boho chic trend with floor-length sleeves

Jennifer Lopez embraced the revival of boho fashion at the latest press day for Unstoppable; on December 10, the star donned a full Chloé look with layers of beige chiffon draping. [Her '70s-inspired beige playsuit, from creative director Chemena Kamali's Summer 2025 collection, combined the bloomer trend with micro shorts and cascading sleeves reminiscent of the bubble skirt trend. There was plenty of fabric between the high neckline and winged sleeves, but Lopez's bare legs and nipped-in waist prevented the voluminous design from visually overwhelming her figure.

The ensemble styled for the occasion by the dynamic duo Rob Zangardi and Marielle Heyne was like Rachel Zoe's struggle for Nicole Richie in the mid-2000s. Back then, such an item would have been topped off with a statement necklace, oversized sunglasses, a silk headscarf, or all of the above. Today's trends, however, favor a minimalist approach. Here, patent nude Christian Louboutin pumps, hoops, and chunky diamond cocktail rings add sparkle to a monochromatic look.

Lopez stuck to her signature glamour with a wavy blowout by Jesus Guerrero and a dusky brown smokey eye and nude pink lipstick applied by Scott Barnes. The gloss on her legs was a liquid-type body high, similar to the one Meghan Markle's makeup artist used on the American Riviera Orchards founder's chest and arms at the Paley Honors Tribute to Tyler Perry on December 4. It is most likely the work of a lighter.

Now that she has conquered the fluffy sleeves and frilly ruffles, which boho chic trend will Jennifer Lopez try next? Perhaps a belted paisley print paired with thigh-high boots.
