The Prince and Princess of Wales are paying tribute to a young woman with cancer who they met at Windsor Castle earlier this year.
On Wednesday, 11 May. On the 27th it was announced that teenage photographer Liz Hutton died after her diagnosis with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Liz's mom, Vicky, shared the x news, writing: "Our incredible daughter Liz passed away in the early hours of this morning. She remained determined until the end. Even yesterday, she was still making plans. We are so proud of the kindness, empathy and courage she showed last year."She was not only a phenomenal photographer, she was also the best person, the most amazing daughter and sister we could ask for," she said. No one could have fought harder for life than she did. There are gaping Liz-shaped holes in our lives that we don't know how to fill. We are so grateful to each one of you, whether you offered to help, or shared likes and posts— you assured Liz that the last two months have been the very best of her. She flew high to the end.
Vicky shared a photo of Liz to readers as she considered donating money to fund research on the desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT), a rare cancer in which Liz was diagnosed.

Liz was diagnosed with a desmoplastic small round cell tumor on May 1 and doctors told her she would "live between 6 months and 3 years," the BBC reported.
The family came up with a photo "bucket list" that included photographing members of the royal family. Just last month, Prince William invited Liz and her family to an ordination ceremony at Windsor Castle, allowing her to complete one of her "bucket list" items, the Daily Mail reported.
