Rihanna showed off her shiny waves in the dull Bob of My dreams
Rihanna has tried almost every cut and color in the sun, from the blonde mohawk in 2009 to the pink pixie in 2014 to the fiery red box braids in 2019. She doesn't particularly linger very long in style, but my favorite look of her has always been Bob. Not starting to describe her 2007 "umbrella" era asymmetrical Bob iconic, and the flippy copper bob she wore to the 2015 Met Gala may deviate far from my mind
But her latest addition to Bob's history book is particularly fascinating. Last month, at the Savage X Fenty event in Los Angeles, the beauty mogul debuted a wavy bob with a glossy jet-black finish that fell in the middle of her neck. And, seemingly, she has since rocked Yousef Williams-style chops. On Monday, 11 May. 4, the singer gave her 150 million Instagram followers a closer look at the cuts in a post encouraging those who can vote in this week's election. In it, 2 mothers appeared to be in the car, wearing oversized black sunglasses, a white tank top and a gold Marie Lichtenberg shoulder blade necklace.
The timing of Lili's autumn bob was no more appropriate. Over the past year, Bob's hairstyles have been trending so hard with civilians and celebrities alike that they've turned into memes. That hasn't stopped the likes of Lily Collins and Selena Gomez from continuing to rock the trend, of course, but what makes Rihanna's freshly cut Bob
look even more fitting for now is that the cut is closer to the release of Fenty Hair. Launched on May 6, the line-up is 9 products developed with a variety of hair types, textures and needs in mind. However, I can personally prove that Fenty Hair's hero products are the most suitable for curly hair: Homecurl Curl Definition Styling Cream and Comeback Kid Instant Damage Repair Hair Treatment. Needless to say, Rihanna's wavy Bob's ultra-hydrated and shiny look could have a lot to do with this dynamic styling duo
Habitually flat—ironed my curly bleach Blonde Bob- as many people to the dismay of my hairstylists- a take on Rihanna's trends This is a much needed reminder that the cropped style looks just as chic when you make your natural texture shine as bright as a diamond.
