Jennifer Lopez matches her Birkin and pitch-black pedicure for her first recording studio session since her divorce.

Jennifer Lopez shows off her head-to-toe color coordination in her latest look On Monday (October 28), “Let's Get Loud” singer Jennifer Lopez arrived at the recording studio in a classic black pedicure matched with a black Birkin bag. She appeared in a classic black pedicure matched with a black birkin bag. Just as white pedicures have become synonymous with summer, black nails are widely known as a celebrity favorite polish color for fall. Whether paired with a Halloween costume like Selena Gomez's or a work-oriented ensemble like Lopez's, it's simple and versatile.

Here, Jennifer Lopez showed off her jet-black pedicure in full effect with clear PVC straps and naked shoes with black soles. Interestingly, her nude pink Naked manicure reflects the barely-there look of the sandals. (It's hard to say without seeing the soles of the sandals, but her heels must be Christian Louboutin.) The Grammy nominee paired her matching bag and shoes with pleated taupe wide-leg pants, brown aviator sunglasses, and a translucent boatneck shirt from the celebrity-favorite basic brand Intimissimi.

Matching pedicures and purses is an old styling trick of Jennifer Lopez's. Earlier this summer, she coordinated a white croc Birkin with a shimmering glazed donut pedicure, visible through her PVC Naked pumps.

Lopez's longtime nail artist, Tom Bachik, has yet to reveal the shade of midnight black he used for the singer's fall look. From a distance, one can only assume that they chose a high-end polish. Absolute Black, from renowned nail artist Jin Soon Choi's product line, is probably the best black cream polish money can buy, but Mooncat's Emo for Life, aptly named, is a very close second (it's needless to say, it's $5 cheaper).

Or, if you're a self-proclaimed shimmer polish addict like me, you'd be remiss not to try Mooncat's holographic black lacquer, Cruel Mirage. I also recommend Olive & June's cosmic black shimmer “Spacey” and the Wicked x OPI collection's black with blue and silver shimmer “Deflying Gravity”.

Whichever black polish you ultimately choose, rest assured that it will match perfectly with the trending fall colors of the moment, from burgundy and corporate gray to teddy bear brown and brat green. If you're on a Jennifer Lopez budget, you can even coordinate it with a rare Birkin bag.
