Zendaya shows off rich chocolate brown lobs for a romantic evening with Tom Holland

Zendaya's hair is a rich statement: an ombre David Bowie-style mullet at the 2016 Grammys, haloed brushed-out curls at the 2017 Met Gala, long braids at the Los Angeles premiere of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in 2021, slicked-back, wet-look updo at the “Dune” press tour in February; a preppy honey blonde blowout at the “Challengers” premiere from March to October: slicked-back, wet-look updo at the “Dune: Part 2” press tour in February; a slicked-back, wet-look updo at the For the “Challengers” premiere from March to October, he appeared in a preppy honey blonde blow-dry style. Now, it looks like the chameleon actor has changed his hairstyle yet again.

After a launch event for boyfriend Tom Holland's non-alcoholic beer brand Bero at celebrity hotspot The Corner Bar, Zendaya was spotted returning to her hotel on October 24 with a fresh dye job. Gone are the golden highlights she had been dying for months. Now, Z is back to gorgeous chocolate brown lobs for the fall. Her brunette hair is still dimensional with soft caramel-colored highlights around her face.

Her lob was styled into an Old Hollywood curl that was swept to the side for the occasion, and her ensemble was no less glamorous. Both Zendaya and Holland wore matching burgundy, one of Bero's brand colors. Zendaya, styled by Lo Roach, wore a burgundy leather dress with a belted waist by Louis Vuitton, a gold pendant necklace by Bulgari, and a naked manicure. Holland, on the other hand, was a bit more casual in a Merlot short-sleeved knit, black pants, and sneakers.

Zendaya's lobes were reminiscent of the 1960s retro wave lobes she wore to the 2024 Oscars. The look, which also featured a dramatic side part, was created by celebrity hairstylist Ty Simon.

Zendaya has two new assignments coming up: filming for Season 3 of Euphoria and the romance film The Drama, starring Robert Pattinson. It is unclear if her new cut and color are tied to either of these projects, but the Oscar nominee has previously discussed her philosophy on hair experimentation.

“I get to experiment and have fun with it. When I can experiment and have fun with my hair, I feel more confident because I don't have to worry about what other people think,” she told The Cut in 2016. 'When you do things for other people, that's when you relinquish control of your life. Other people's words affect you and determine how you feel. For me, experimenting and having fun allows me to be in a really free space of doing something for Zendaya.”
