A new royal baby is on the way. [Buckingham Palace announced on Tuesday, October 1, that Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, will welcome their second child next year.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child in early spring.

The couple will have their first child, Siena, in 2021, and Siena celebrated her third birthday on September 18. Mapeli Mozzi also has an 8-year-old son, Wolfie, with her former boyfriend, Darrah Huang.

Boa's parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and his uncle, King Charles, are thrilled with their new grandson. According to a press release, “His Majesty the King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

Princess Beatrice and her husband took the opportunity to treat their fans with two new photos. In the first photo, the happy couple embraces Bo, who wears a stylish and very royal padded maroon headband, while Edo wears a casual baseball cap.

In the second photo, little Sienna (with the cutest blonde hair!) ) is taking a precious stroll in the woods hand in hand with her big brother Wolfie and her proud papa.

The couple has kept Siena out of the spotlight and have only released one photo of her since her birth. The snap, which Mapeli Mozzi posted on Instagram in honor of her daughter's second birthday, showed Sienna from behind, adorably wearing a large sombrero.

News of her pregnancy came at a difficult time for the York family after the release of A Very Royal Scandal, an Amazon Prime series about Prince Andrew's infamous Newsnight interview. According to a report in Scotland's Daily Express, the princess is “heartbroken” by the backlash from the series.

Hopefully there will be better news for Beatrice and her family in the coming year.
