Haley Bieber shows off her juicy blackberry nails for fall.

Every time Haley Bieber shows off a new manicure, nail trends flap their wings. And we have to say, this latest lacquer choice may have been Bieber's best nails yet: on Thursday, September 19, the Lord Blush mogul showed off a fresh coat of navy tips on Instagram. Or as I like to call them: blackberry nails.

The particular shade of deep blue that Bieber wears in her selfies will likely remain a mystery until her go-to nail artist, Zora Ganzoligto, chimes in to confirm. In the meantime, however, I will not stop hypothesizing.

Earlier this week, fellow beauty founder Kylie Jenner (another longtime Ganzoligt client) teased the return of the 2010s taupe manicure à la Essie Chinchilly. And two posts before that, she took me back to my high school days by posting a Vampire King Kylie-esque manicure featuring OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark.

Look, I'm no scientist. But Jenner's recent nostalgic penchant for manicures makes me wonder if Bieber has a similar mindset while getting her nails done every other week. That said, I'd venture to say she's likely clad in another polish loved in the 2010s: OPI's Russian Navy. As a teenager with no grip, I used to leave big, dirty droplets of this polish all over my childhood home. I know this shade. I love this shade. And I am so excited to add this shade to my rotation again, with Mrs. Beaver's blessing. Without a doubt, this manicure deserves a place in the hallowed hall of fame of Haley Bieber manicures, next to butter yellow and milky white.

People love to say that black is universally beautiful, but I've always thought navy blue is infinitely more deserving of that title. Just as pink, yellow, and beige make lovely substitutes for white, shades such as navy blue, burgundy, brown, and hunter green can easily be substituted for black without going too far. Navy also pairs surprisingly well with many other on-trend fall shades, such as burgundy, toasted sesame brown, sky blue, and brat green.

Of course, if you're not quite ready to take the plunge into navy blue (or if dropping your blue nail polish sounds like a personal nightmare), don't worry: CND founder Jan Arnold is the beauty editor at Marie Claire, Samantha Hollender, for many other fun seasonal ideas.

“Colors like mauves, browns, olive greens, and smoky grays remain popular nail shades every fall because they complement the seasonal shades around us beautifully,” said Arnold. These shades are rich, comfortable, and stylish, and when combined creatively, provide a more interesting look “

“Try modern camouflage with fall colors or add an edgy touch with graffiti patterns,” she added. Let's see if Haley Bieber herself will take notice.
