Elizabeth Debicki's glamorous Emmy Awards makeup is Princess Diana-esque

No one looks exactly like Princess Diana, the actress from “The Crown,” who just won the 2024 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, is showing off her royal resemblance on the red carpet.

The actress's glossy makeup seems to trace the classic, elegant aesthetic of Princess Diana. Makeup artist Misha Shazada exclusively told Marie Claire magazine, “I wanted to focus on a perfect pout with a shiny center while keeping her skin glossy and bright. The shades were pinks and nudes, which complemented Elizabeth's skin tone nicely.”

The resulting peachy-pink color came from the blending of three separate shades: “Start with Rouge Dior Balm (#000 Dior Natural) as a lip primer, line the lips with Rouge Dior Contour Lip Pencil (shade #259 Nude Ribbon) I drew and filled in, then topped off the center of the lips with Dior Addict Lip Maximizer (shade #001 Pink).

The key to keeping this high-shine finish from the red carpet to the Emmys stage is to apply the liner to the body of the lips.

“It gives a lipstick-like feel while keeping your lips hydrated.

Debicki did not wear his hair in a pixie hairdo for the event, but worked with hairstylist DJ Quintero to wear his hair down his neck in the fashion of Princess Diana. He styled his blonde locks into an “effortless” French twist and tamed the springiness with KERASILK taming balm.
