Diptyque's Latest Collection Redefines the Fantasy Fragrance Trend
Whether you love candles or perfume, it's hard to talk about the world of fragrance without mentioning Diptyque. A favorite of celebrities (Meghan Markle being one) and everyday shoppers alike, this French-born brand has been developing popular scents since 1963. Fans with shelves full of Bears candles have been spoiled lately between the release of new summer collections and fleeting archival sales. In a twist on the fantasy fragrance trend, another treat has arrived: Diptyque has introduced a new collection of five fresh, transporter-like scents called Les Essences de Diptyque.
Some perfumers create “fantasies” with aromas that evoke elements not found in nature. Diptyque takes a different approach, capturing aromas that are elusive in nature and therefore cannot be experienced without the cooperation of the brand.
