What You Need to Know About the Actors in “The Accident” Cast” Netflix's Hit Series
Netflix's latest Spanish-language hit series, “The Accident,” depicts the grief and turmoil of an entire community hit by an unimaginable tragedy. Created by Leonardo Padrón, the Mexican series begins at a child's birthday party and builds to tragedy when strong winds send a bouncy castle carrying several children into the air. (As several families grieve the loss of their loved ones, the mounting emotions lead to more death and grief, culminating in the shocking conclusion of the 10-episode series.)

Ana Claudia Talancón stars in “The Accident” as Daniela, a Santa Cruz police detective and mother of Rodrigo, a birthday boy who meets a tragic fate at a party. In the aftermath, Daniela must deal with her grief as well as determine the cause of death.
Originally from Cancun, Daniela began her career as a model and began her soap opera career in the late 1990s, appearing in telenovelas such as Al norte del corazón and Romántica obsesión. She later appeared in films and was nominated for an Ariel Award (Mexico's equivalent of the Academy Awards) for Best New Actress for “El Cometa” in 1999, Fast Food Nation (2006), Love in the Time of Cholera (2007), 2008 She is also known for “One Missed Call” in 2008.
Sebastián Martínez plays Emiliano Lobo, Daniela's husband and father of Lucia and Rodrigo. On the day of the accident, he is distracted by an important phone call and is plagued by grief and guilt.
Martinez is a stage and film actor born in Medellín, Colombia, whose credits include Juegos prohibidos, La Pola, Contra el tiempo, La ley del corazón, Rosario Tijeras, and Pa' querete, Known for starring in daytime soap operas and stage musicals in his native Colombia, prior to The Accident, he worked with creator Leonardo Padrón on the Netflix series The Marked Heart.
Agustín Mejía, better known as El Charro, is a businessman with a disreputable past, and his youngest son Gabriel is close to Rodrigo. When Gabriel dies in an accident, Charo's grief drives him into a rage, and he sets out to destroy the man responsible for his son's death.
Alberto Guerra will be a familiar face to Netflix fans; in early 2024, he starred alongside Sofia Vergara as Dario Sepulveda in the crime drama Griselda. The Cuban actor made his soap opera debut in 2002 and has recently appeared in Guerra de ídolos, El Señor de los Cielos, and Crime Diaries: also in season 3 of Narcos: Mexico
el Charro's wife Lupita is the devoted mother of their two sons, Alex and Gabriel. After Gabriel's death, her relationship with Charo sours, but viewers should keep in mind that she can be just as ruthless as her husband.
Eréndira Ibarra is a Mexico City native who made her foray into U.S. productions with her role in the cult favorite Netflix series Sense8. Her credits include the soap operas Las Aparicio and Camelia la Texana, the Netflix series Ingobernable, and the 2021 film The Matrix Resurrections. She is also a producer and co-founder of Anónima Media, a female-led production company.
Moncho is a faithful housekeeper for the Lobos, and his children often play with Rodrigo. After an accident, however, he becomes the target of his wealthy parents' wrath.
Silverio Palacios has appeared in such well-known films as Y tu mamá también, The Legend of Zorro, The Violin, and The Thin Yellow Line.
Moncho's wife Yolanda also works for the Lobos, but she is much more hostile toward the couple and their wealth. In the first episode of the Accident, she says that the Lobos are being nice to the family “to be on God's side.”

David is Emiliano's brother-in-law and colleague. He supports his friend after his accident and tries to keep the theme park deal afloat. However, things get complicated when he has an affair with Lupita.
Eric Hazer is a Mexican actor who began his career in the mid-2000s in a telenovela. In Accident, he reunites with frequent collaborator Erendira Ibarra, the two having previously worked together in Sense8 and Ingobernable.

Daniela and Emiliano's first child, Lucia, was a popular teenager who partied and used drugs before her brother's death. Later, despite the pleas of her boyfriend Alex, she increases her drug use to cope with the pain and confusion.
Macarena Garcia Romero is a 23-year-old Mexican actress who made her Netflix debut in the teen drama “Control Z.” Her grandmother, Anabel Gutierrez, is considered “one of the pioneers of the golden age of Mexican cinema,” according to IMDb.
Following the death of his brother Gabriel, Charo and Lupita's eldest son, Alex, must balance his difficult relationship with his father and his desire to protect his girlfriend Lucia.
Sebastian Dante previously made his Netflix debut with the Mexican teen comedy Who's a Good Boy. The rising star is known for his appearances in telenovelas such as Falsa identidad and El rey, Vicente Fernández.
