What You Need to Know About Brianna Baram and Demari Davis' Relationship in “Too Hot to Handle” Season 6
Spoilers ahead for episodes 1-4 of “Too Hot to Handle” season 6. An early couple on a dating show faces a very tricky situation: becoming the biggest target ensures their spotlight on the show. At the start of season 6 of Netflix's hit reality series “Too Hot to Handle,” Brianna Balram and Demari Davis are the fastest couple to tie the knot of all the cast members and have the strongest grievances against the show's robot hostess, Lana. But for a couple that started off so strongly, is it possible that adversity could make their hearts grow stronger? Read on to find out everything we know so far about Bri and Demari's relationship, including clues as to whether they could have made it out of the villa.
As soon as they stepped into THTH's villa, model Bri and stockbroker Demari jumped straight onto each other's radar. The Atlanta native immediately pulls Demari in for a chat and declares her to be his type, but when this season's new troublemaking robot, Bud Lana, declares that breaking the rules is no fine, Bri keeps her options open for a possible connection with another man. Londoner Chris makes his move, including a secret kiss in the bathroom with Bri, but Demari remains her number one. But Demari is still her number one.
Unfortunately, Bri's aggressive attitude makes her a target for Lana. Bri and Charlie, from Kent, are the biggest threats to the $250,000 prize pool in Season 6 and are ousted from the villa. But they are not eliminated. Instead, they must spend 24 hours in a windowless bunker counting clips. During this time, all Bri can think about is Demari, who thinks she is gone forever and is disappointed and angry that Demari may have moved on with someone else. Demari spends a moment flirting with new/returning Season 4 alum Flavia over suntan lotion, but Bri gets a chance to watch from afar in exchange for $5,000 in prize money. Later, she spends another $5,000 and learns that Flavia did not pick Demari as her date.
When she returns, Bri apologizes to Demari for being “selfish” and kisses Chris, and Demari says he understands since it was the first day; the two agree to continue knowing each other and get on cloud nine. Bri is now on his best behavior, fearing the possibility of being ostracized.
But that doesn't mean Lana has ended their relationship. One of them, Valentina from Colombia, chooses Demari as her date. As if that wasn't enough, Lana banishes Bri again (...) and decides to test whether “being invisible means being invisible”.
Of course, Valentina is gorgeous and Demari is taken aback when he sees her. Their date goes well, and Demari says that the newcomer is everything he wants her to be “on paper.” Demari, faced with the choice of continuing the date for another half hour or releasing Bri from her banishment, decides to extend the date. And in the meantime, he kisses Valentina.
Demari gets a second chance to bring Bri back at the end of the date's time, or to leave Bri in exile for another 12 hours. Thankfully, he decides to let her go, but when Demari returns to the villa with Valentina, he has a lot of explaining to do when Bri is already waiting there. Bri also overheard Valentina and Demari chatting with the boys and discussing “pocket money” before he could talk to her. Whether this is the end of Bri and Demari's time together will have to wait for the next episode to be released on July 26.
As always, newly minted Netflix stars Bri and Demari are making it difficult for fans to find spoilers on social media. As of the Season 6 premiere, the two are following each other on Instagram and have “liked” some of each other's posts on each other's posts, so at least they seem to be on good terms. It also appears that the two were in Los Angeles at the same time earlier this summer, but it is possible that this was not to see each other, but for general influencer business. We'll see if we hear more in the next couple of weeks.
