Yesterday, July 2, the pop star showed up on the set of a commercial shoot in an all-black outfit: Alexander Wang low-waisted leather pants and a sheer black vintage Gucci "jacket," circa spring 1996. The top was embellished with bushy feathers from the cuffs to the collar, adding nuances of gray, emerald, eggplant, and royal blue to the dark colors. She completed the ensemble with silver Tiffany hoop earrings that looked like two padlocks joined together, and a chunky Tiffany link necklace in white gold and diamonds . This outfit doesn't scream "summer," but it does scream "Scary Spice Season."

That same day, Ripa also released an Instagram diary documenting her week at Glastonbury. Fashion highlights included a fringed two-piece set by Christopher Esber and a grungy R13 sweater paired with leather hot pants by Isabel Marant. (5]

Dua Lipa embraced a more edgy aesthetic (not a counterculture edge, but an Instagrammable edge) that veered between biker chic and Scary Spice. There seem to be two main camps in fashion this summer." The indie-sleaze, or "Brat Girl Summer," and the girls who wear Peter Pan colors and viral white skirts. Ripa's latest look falls into the former category.
