Actress Salma Hayek is enjoying Wimbledon.

On Sunday, July 7, the Hollywood A-lister enjoyed day seven of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club with her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault.

With Hayek watching from the Royal Box, she wore a Wimbledon-familiar, coastal preppy-inspired outfit, a Gucci navy suite jacket with a monogrammed patent leather collar.

She paired the Gucci jacket with a striped Gucci T-shirt featuring the Italian label's logo, navy pleated pants, and an ivory Gucci Jackie handbag.

To complete her tennis-ready look, Hayek accessorized with wraparound black shades and a gold cocktail ring. Like many summer 2024 trends, Hayek proved to be "less-is-more," whether enjoying a day at the beach or watching the world's oldest tennis tournament in the stands.

Hayek also utilized the typical summer look of nautical stripes.

"Classic with a twist is a big theme this summer," Tiffany Hsu, fashion buying director at Mytheresa, told Marie Claire in a previous interview. We still see stripes, but many designers are adding a 'cool girl' edge." Jean Paul Gaultier's new collection, for example, draws on archives" (Parisienne-approved Breton stripes and line illusion graphics are both memorable Maison codes) "and adds a psychedelic flair to classic stripes to the classic stripes."

In addition to reviving the summer 2023 trend via her $780 striped Gucci shirt, she seems to be emulating Jennifer Lopez's high-low look, pairing a seemingly minimal outfit with a rather expensive handbag (Lopez has paired her rich Birkin bag collection courtesy of a well-known). [For example, Lopez recently posted a number of photos of herself enjoying the Hamptons in a chic countryside outfit paired with a $6,400 Dior bag.

In a recent interview with Vogue Arabia, Hayek opened up about her fashion journey and what it was like to style herself at the start of her career.

"I didn't have access to many designers. They didn't want to dress me, so I had to get creative or find something right before they did."
