Today's "item to add to your rotation" is a pair of Gabrielle Union Reformation pumps. These pumps are a reminder that sometimes the best items come from the most unexpected brands.

The actress and entrepreneur was photographed in New York City on Thursday, May 2 at the brand's Fifth Avenue flagship store to celebrate the launch of Pharrell's new Tiffany Titan collection. Styled by Thomas Christos Kikis, Union was dressed in all black for the occasion, including a belted mini dress and reformed patent leather Pippa pumps.

The event at Tiffany's was just the next in a busy week in town for the California resident. A few days earlier, Union had hit the red carpet at the New York premiere of Amazon Prime Video's "The Idea of You," which she produced.

I've loved Reformation's shoe line ever since they collaborated with the New York City Ballet last year, but I don't think they get enough love online. The brand is known for its range of impeccable wedding guest dresses and linen frocks, but the shoe selection is seriously underrated.

Most of the line sells for under $500, with Union heels at $298. For example, if you want to finally get close to a controversial look, there are the cutest mesh flats ever.

Union is not the only A-lister wearing Ref shoes. Taylor Swift also wore knee-high boots in New York City in December 2023. Supermodel Gigi Hadid also recently wore the brand's printed loafers.
