Dua Lipa has been taking on the Spring 2024 trend for the past few weeks. Like Hailey Bieber, she has taken on the no-pants look, and like Gigi Hadid, she has put her own spin on blazers and pants. This week, Lipa pulls a "future nostalgia" look from the runway and endorses the metallic silver bag trend.

On Tuesday, April 23, Ripa graced the streets of New York in a palette of gray and dusty blue. For the mobile day, the 29-year-old wore a fitted ribbed top and a high-slit skirt layered over sheer tights. For warmth, she draped a relaxed denim jacket over her shoulders and wore sleek high-knee boots.

But the star of the show was her choice of metallic accessories. To complete her outfit, she flaunted bold silver jewelry and clutched a shiny bag. Details of Ripa's look have not been confirmed by stylist Lorenzo Posocco, but it is safe to assume the bag is Gucci's Horsebit Embellished Metallic Leather Bag (from the brand's Fall 2023 collection).

Whether she intended to or not, Ripa has fully embraced the silver trend that has been prevalent in street style for some time now. (Last year's Renaissance Tour featured a silver dress code and runway collections from Coperni to Isabel Marant.)

Of course, Dua Lipa's experimentation with trends is nothing new. Just a few weeks ago, the "Levitating" singer made an appearance in London while rocking the no-pants trend. She swapped her bottoms for tights and styled a green Ferragamo leather jacket over a micro mini dress.

Not long after her pantsless moment, Ripa leaned into the lingerie dressing trend while on a date with boyfriend Callum Turner. Ripa appeared in a red corseted mini-dress that peeked out from under an oversized leather jacket.
