Jennifer Lopez loves the high-low look. The star has been known to pair a fur coat with a baseball cap or a baggy sweatshirt with an $80,000 purse. He also loves trends, and over the weekend he wore super wide-leg jeans that fit right in with the top denim trend on the 2024 runway. And today, Lopez is combining classic high-low style with the return of chunky sneakers.

J.Lo went for a workout in green-on-green athleisure on Tuesday (March 16). She wore army green leggings with a cropped sage windbreaker and oversized Gucci sunglasses with forest green gradient lenses. Other accessories included the classic gold hoop earrings and the trusty Hermes Himalayan croc birkin bag. The best showstopper, however, was a pair of chunky white On Cloudtilt x Loewe sneakers with bouncy, cushioned soles.

Chunky sneakers and leggings are the mainstay of Lopez's street style. On a recent errand, Lopez wore basic black leggings and $1,200 Prada thick-soled sneakers. The actress-turned-singer-turned-musical-filmmaker also went all-bars in white leggings and a Saint Laurent cashmere coat. And if there's one thing we know about J.Lo, it's that her everyday wardrobe prioritizes comfort and luxury (and, judging by her collection of leggings, workouts (and incorporating it).

She's not the only celebrity to champion the return of pump-up sneakers after years of Adidas sambas. Taylor Swift's Coachella outfit included Gucci chunky sneakers. Katie Holmes' off-the-street style often features pony souped-up chunky sneakers.

Lopez's casual yet elevated outfits were in keeping with the theme of her return to the stage, her first tour in five years. The roots of the "Jenny From the Block" and "This Is Me.... .Now" tour, she was recently reborn as the "Best Hits" tour.

That rough-hewn spirit has been a perpetual theme for Lopez, and even more so this year. In the now-iconic clip from her new documentary, "The Greatest Love Story Never Told," she shares an aside about growing up in the Bronx. 'I like to cut my hair like this,' she says. It reminds me of when I was 16 in the Bronx. She says in the snip, "I love to cut my hair like this.
