Prince William accepts a gift to Kate Middleton as health rumors swirl.

2 days after Kensington Palace issued a statement on Kate Middleton's health, Prince William brought home gifts from Welsh schoolchildren to his wife and children.

According to Palace, Middleton is recovering from an abdominal surgery he performed on May 1.She has not been seen in public since Christmas. It was while William was unexpectedly pulled out of a memorial service for his late Godfather on Tuesday that he returned to public service on a Friday school visit

William was in Wrexham, Wales, to celebrate St. David's day (and, yes, his trip to Wrexham included a pub visit with Rob McElhenney, co・owner of Wrexham Football Club). He visited Ysgol Yr Holl Saint/All Saint's School to celebrate the patron Saint of Wales, and a group of children gave him a crochet red dragon toy to take home to his own children and nod to the dragon on the Welsh flag. The school also gave William a bouquet of red flowers, people's notes, and William said he would "hand them over to Catherine."

William also accepted a bouquet for his wife while visiting a London synagogue to denounce anti-Semitism on Thursday. The prince met with a Holocaust survivor who told him that she had missed Kate and gave her best wishes, according to the Daily Mail.

In a statement provided to the Sun on Wednesday, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said Kate will probably not attend any public events until later this spring, saying: "It is very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace will only provide updates when something matters." Kate's absence has not gone unnoticed, whether it is in the form of her being missed at William's public events or the conspiracy theories surrounding her health.
