The Royal Family has officially reacted to the bombshell news that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are effectively resigning as senior members of the Royal Family. And by the looks of it, they are very unhappy. [Discussions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early stage. We understand that they want to take a different approach, but this is a complex issue and will take time to resolve." Also, none of the royal family has been consulted about this disconnect, and they seem "disappointed."

In other words, if I understand correctly, 1) this is a huge shock, 2) they do not agree with this, and 3) this is going to be a big old mess to sift through. Reading a little more closely, it seems that they are urging Harry and Meghan to pay attention to what they are doing.

You may not know what I'm talking about, but Harry and Meghan just made a bombshell announcement.

"We will now continue to fulfill our obligations to the Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patrons while striking a balance between the UK and North America," they added.
