That was never more apparent than when Steve Reality spoiled the show picks over the weekend and the official announcement was made on Good Morning America early Monday morning. People gave a lot of feedback, some of which follows.
Former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey was cheering all the way:
So were other members of the franchise (opens in new tab). Ben Higgins told ET: "I like that she's mature, knows what she wants, and really wants to find a partner. I was shocked when Colton became the Bachelor, and I was shocked when Hannah decided to become the Bachelorette.
Becca Kufrin also told ET: "I don't know about her, but I'm ready to get back to basics, increase my maturity level a bit, and finally have some deep real connections and conversations."
Nick Viall also weighed in:
Some were concerned, especially given her long and tumultuous Bachelorette history:
