Well, well, well, this is a strange report. After the unholy madness that was the Bachelor finale (open in new tab) (special appearance: Barb Weber's epic look (open in new tab)), one of the oddest elements of the live episode was that my beloved bachelorette Kelly Flanagan (open in new tab) was sitting in the audience the entire time And there was nothing to it: there had long been rumors that 1) Peter Weber chose her over the other finalists, 2) Weber and Flanagan were dating after the show, and 3) Weber and Flanagan had been spotted together and were fully in a relationship.

I initially brushed them off because nothing was verified. In retrospect, however, I feel that there may actually have been some truth to the rumors. We don't know what kind of relationship Weber has with Madison Prewett, the bachelorette of his choice, but if the rumors of him and Flanagan casually dating are true, it is possible that the two will try to date in the future. First, there is evidence that Weber's family only follows Flanagan on social media. I initially attributed this to the fact that Flanagan and Weber met at a wedding before the show.

Then there were rumors and unconfirmed sightings of Weber and Flanagan "hooking up" at the Super Bowl and afterwards. In this video shared by Kylie Jenner, Weber is there, presumably in the background, uttering the name "Kelly":

Initially, many spoilers dismissed the rumor as mere speculation - a wild theory this season.

Chris Harrison cut to Flanagan in the audience at the beginning of the Bachelor finale and said she was super important. That sparked a huge outburst of speculation about Weber and Flanagan coupling, but of course it came to nothing, instead favoring that hot dumpster fire ending.

According to this Redditor (open in new tab) (i.e., not exactly verified), someone sitting behind a family friend of Peter Weber's during ATFR overheard this little gem:

"They had no idea that my colleagues had overheard Without realizing it, they were also whispering about how Barb had told them that Peter and Kelly had dated together several times and talked a lot between the breakup of her engagement to HA and her appearance on ATFR with Madison.

Oh my God. Reality Steve also commented that the timing of Prewett and Weber getting back together (open in new tab) appears to coincide with the timing of his official breakup with Hannah Ann Suras.

And this? Barber Weber commented on Flanagan's Instagram, saying she was great and inviting her to go shopping with him:

To me, it seems like more than a random relationship where "we barely know each other." I can tell you this much: I think Barb knows something we don't.

In a recent post, RS admitted (open in new tab), "Since Super Bowl weekend (a few days after he called off his engagement to Hannah Ann), rumors have been swirling that Peter spent the weekend with Kelly and slept together. I don't know if we can deny that." He also said that he doesn't believe a word about Prewett and Webber's love affair. I mean, theoretically, he could be with Flanagan ... But there is still no evidence to support that.
