In late May, "Parent Trap" director and star Lindsay Lohan teased news about "Parent Trap" (opens in new tab). Since then, we have not received any solid information on what exactly this news is about. On Friday, Myers wrote in an Instagram photo, "Yayyyy! Finally tomorrow I can share the news about 'PARENT TRAP'! (It's not a sequel yet.)"

Lohan shared the same behind-the-scenes photo of the 1998 film with the caption: "@nmeyers ? and commented: "Tomorrow is the 411!"

Well, we got nothing yesterday, but this morning, both Lohan and Meyers shared a clip from Katie Couric with a big announcement. 'It's so cool,' Lohan said in the teaser. Says Quaid, "It's been a lot of fun." 'There's a whole generation out there that thinks Meredith is the hashtag goal. Walter points to his interaction with Simon Kunz, who plays Martin in the film, saying, "My favorite moment is the look on his face when he shows up in those Speedos. We found a big star," Myers says of Lohan."

This was Myers' directorial debut, a remake of the 1961 film of the same name starring Haley Mills; Natasha Richardson, who played Elizabeth James in the 1998 film, died in 2009 after a ski accident (opens in new tab).
