Read MoreTime and time again, Jamie Lynn Spears has had Britney's back. It was evident last year when she threw shade at Justin Timberlake on Instagram (open in new tab) (my sister also holds a grudge against the man who broke my heart 15 years ago) and today when Jamie defended her sister on Instagram. Jamie posted a tweet from Holsey stating that "manic episodes are no joke," and someone asked Jamie, "What about your sister's [sic] obvious mental illness?" Why don't you talk about it?" He commented.
Jamie Lynn was having none of it. He said, "You have no right to make assumptions about my sister. She is a strong, badass, unstoppable woman and that is all that is obvious."
The Instagram account @CommentsByCelebs captured the exchange:

Britney and Jamie are close friends, and Jamie revealed in May that Britney chose to return home to Louisiana to spend time with her family during the coronavirus outbreak. Britney was like, "I want to go home, I don't want to be alone (in LA)." So she was able to go home for almost two weeks," Jamie told "Entertainment Tonight." (Open in new tab)
Last April, Jamie was also forced to defend her sister on Instagram when Britney checked into a mental health facility." Who was there 10 years ago? I have been here longer than anyone and will always be here. I love my sister with every fiber of my being. So anyone who says anything to the contrary, or anything else, can GTFOH with all the comments about things you don't understand," Jamie writes. (open in new tab) [11]
