Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sent racist letter containing "unidentified white powder"

This is an utterly terrifying insight into the lives of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry: According to a new book, Finding Freedom, by royal biographers Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, Meghan and Harry were sent a racist letter containing "unidentified white powder" The letter was intercepted by a security team during a trip to Scotland a few months before their wedding. The letter contained "racist allegations," Scobie and Duran wrote, citing an article in the Independent (opens in new tab). Meghan and Harry were understandably horrified, and Meghan had trouble sleeping that night.

In fact, Meghan and Harry received "so many unusual threats" that Meghan had to undergo intensive security training before the royal wedding. Security experts taught Meghan what to do in the event of a kidnapping and advised her on how to "build a relationship with the enemy." In addition, she had to learn "how to drive a car during a chase," Scobie and Duran write.

As you can imagine, the future Duchess of Sussex was "grateful" for the security training, but the whole experience deeply disturbed Meghan, who found it "very intense and scary." Very bad.
