Chris Evans opens up about nude photo leak

Unless you were completely off the grid this weekend, you probably heard what happened to Chris Evans (opens in new tab). Instead of recording his family playing Heads Up, which he really, really wanted to share, the Captain America star accidentally uploaded a photo of his penis from his camera roll to Instagram.

Evans did not address the mistake until yesterday (more on that later). But today, on the Tamron Hall show, when the talk show host asked what happened between Friday and Saturday, the Knives Out actor told the truth about what happened.

"What happened this weekend?" Evans asked jokingly." It's called turning a frown upside down, Tamron. It was an interesting weekend. There was much to learn. There was a lot to be taught. Lots of things happen, some embarrassing. You have to roll with the punches. I will say that I have some very wonderful fans who came out to support me."

And Tamron said, "Well, I'm one of those fans, I'm here for the journey." And what happened to Evans was not ideal, it was a private matter and should not have been shared publicly without his full consent.

Evans had been fairly silent about this accidental posting until yesterday, when he tweeted his best (and most heroic) response to the whole incident.

Also, many of his friends and family came out to support him, as did co-star Mark Ruffalo. He tweeted (open in new tab). '@ChrisEvans Bro, nothing you can do to embarrass yourself while Trump is in office. See... It's a silver lining."

We couldn't agree more.
