Meghan Markle shows off her impressive hidden talents in new Netflix documentary with Prince Harry.

Whether it's acting, cooking, writing, or speaking at the United Nations, Meghan Markle has displayed many talents over the years. But in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's new Netflix documentary, “Polo,” the California-based royal shows off another skill that will make fans gasp.

In the final episode of the five-part show, which premiered on Tuesday, December 10, the Duchess greeted Prince Harry and Argentine polo player Alfonso Cambiaso after the match. When the Duke of Sussex told his teammate, “She's fluent in Spanish,” Markle continued her conversation with the player in Spanish.

“I lived in Palermo Viejo about 20 years ago. And in Las Canitas,” the Duchess said, referring to her time as an intern at the U.S. Embassy in Argentina.

Cambiaso replied, “That's wonderful, they had a polo stadium there.” The Duchess of Sussex continued that she loved National Day on May 25, which is celebrated with concerts, parades, and other events.

“Do you speak Spanish?” she asked. Cambiaso then asked the Duke of Sussex, dressed in a polo shirt. Markle jokingly replied, “Yes,” and placed her arm on her husband's shoulder, who burst out laughing.

“He knows I don't!” Prince Harry replied. Prince Harry replied, adding, “A little, a little.”

The exchange was filmed as the Duchess, dressed in a chic ivory halter dress by Heidi Merrick, cheered Harry on at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Wellington, Florida in April 2024. The royal couple served as executive producers of the project, but only appeared briefly in the final episode, preferring to keep the focus on the world of sports and other athletes.

The Duchess, however, can be seen sitting in the trunk of a car as she watches a match with her best friend Serena Williams. The royal family later presented Prince Harry and his teammates with trophies after they won the match. 15]

According to Netflix, “The series pulls back the curtain on a sport known primarily for its aesthetic and social scenes and captures the full scope of what it takes to compete at its highest level.”
