Katy Perry reveals Christmas traditions with neighbors like Orlando Bloom and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

If you're looking for another reason to write “Move to Monte Seat” on your life vision board, keep reading.

Katy Perry has revealed yet another enviable thing about living in this part of California, where some of the world's most famous people reside, including Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom, Oprah Winfrey, and of course Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

While filming the ITV concert special “Night of a Lifetime” in London this week, Perry took time to share his personal plans for the holiday season with the audience: caroling for his California neighbors.

“We're going to go back to the States and do something we do every year. We're going to rent a trolley, dress up in costume, put lights on the trolley, and go to our hometown neighbors and see all their lights.”

As for the caroling part of the tradition, Perry also revealed that it includes costumes, which sounds like a pretty nice little neighborhood production.

“Sometimes there's hot cocoa and I dress up as the Grinch and it's super fun. We go caroling.” We go caroling.

As the Daily Mail points out, the Sussex family lives near Perry and Bloom, and the two couples have reportedly become not only neighbors but even friends. Perry is even scheduled to perform at the opening night of Harry's favorite Invictus Games in Vancouver in February.

Perry also opened up during her performance about another geographical similarity she and Bloom share with Meghan and Harry. Like Harry, Bloom is from England, and although the Sussexes rarely return to England, Perry revealed that she and Bloom have spent a significant amount of time in England and love the country.

“I love England so much. I love your sense of humor, I love your very dark and sarcastic side,” she told the crowd (from Daily Mail). 'We're here most summers with our daughter and I love the tradition of the Sunday roast. We only do it one or two days a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas.”

The couple, who have a 4-year-old daughter, Daisy, apparently does not miss the few roast dinners in the United States. Given the tradition of careful family caroling, it seems safe to assume that they will be staying quite local during the holiday season.

In other words, people living near Perry, including Harry and Meghan, get to enjoy free Christmas concerts by some of the world's biggest pop stars every year. And she will perform in her Christmas outfit. She also rents a trolley. It is truly a city of vision boards.
