Pippa Middleton shimmers in a sophisticated black coat dress during the Christmas carol event

Pippa Middleton knows how to dress, y'all. Putting her sartorial acumen to work in honor of her sister Kate Middleton's annual "Together at Christmas" carol service event, the young siblings were poised in sophisticated, functional and fashionable coat dresses.

And if we're wondering if we crave the look, we absolutely do. It's a completely subtle holiday look!

It can often be challenging to feel chic and organized, but not squeezed by layers when dressing during the holidays. Cold in the air can sometimes feel warm and impossible to dress fashionable at the same time.

However, Pippa showed us all how it can be done with her Tweed Karen Millen look. The black boucle fabric is highlighted with shiny black and silver buttons and complemented by subtle shimmering threads that run throughout.

The whole look is tied in tights and an absolutely gorgeous red velvet heel and a matching clutch (which is from Emmy London) that has given a grown Christmas vibe in the best way possible, and we try and find what to wear to our own holiday party. 9]

Pippa, along with the rest of the Middleton clan, including her mother Carol, her father Michael, her brother James, and his wife Alizee Tevenet, supported the joyful occasion at her eldest daughter's annual event, especially given that Princess Catherine recently completed chemotherapy after her cancer diagnosis.

The beloved holiday tradition, Kate Middleton's annual "Christmas Together" carol event, is said to be a moment to "reflect the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives," Kensington Palace shared.

Unfortunately, Pippa's Karen Millen dresses are sold out, but we're not afraid to be servicey, so we chose some similar inspired coatdresses for you to check out below.
