Mark Estes breaks his silence on his divorce from Kristin Cavallari.

The Laguna Beach alum, 37, previously opened up about his breakup with Estes on his podcast “Let's Be Honest” and was candid about how the age difference was an issue in their relationship.

“I broke up with Mark: I broke up with Mark because I knew he needed to experience life long-term,” the reality star said. [He's still young. He's young. A lot of people say, 'Well, no way. Yes, he is. He's 24 and he needs to experience life. I wasn't ignoring the fact that he's fresh out of college. I understand.”

Cavallari continued, “I think our relationship is really beautiful. I think ours is a really beautiful relationship. But he will make someone very happy one day. And he will have a beautiful family of his own, and he should.”

“I think one day he will look back and realize that. And one day he will thank me. Mark is a really nice guy. I mean, he's a really good guy. That's why it's hard.”

Cavallari and Estes dated for seven months and often shared photos of their adventures as a couple on social media.

In March, the Uncommon James founder defended their relationship in front of critics of their 13-year age difference. At the time, she posted a TikTok in which she asked in hushed tones, “So what are you gonna do about it? Are you gonna arrest me?” She wrote, “Are you going to give me a ticket? Cavallari was previously married to Jay Cutler from 2013 to 2022, but announced their separation in 2020; they have three children, Camden (12), Jackson (10), and Saylor (8)

and are married with two sons, Jay Cutler (12) and Jay Cutler (8).
