An “unusual” hobby enjoyed by Queen Camilla until tragedy struck in 2024.

The Duke of Sussex is now making one official appearance after another alone, i.e., without his wife Meghan Markle, and one royal expert believes this is the perfect opportunity for Harry to find his feet in his career.
“It's significant that he's doing so much on his own now,” Phil Dampier told The Sun.
“Harry and Meghan are living more separate lives as Harry seems to be trying to carve out exactly what his future will be. I think Harry feels like a spare part.”
Dampier continued. 'He wants a more fulfilling role for himself, so we may see more of him [in the UK].'
Harry confirmed earlier this month that he will be flying to the UK in late September to attend the Wellchild Awards, a charity he has been a patron of since 2007 and which is consequently very close to his heart.
“I am honored once again to be attending this year's Wellchild Awards, which celebrate the courage and achievements of children with complex medical needs,” Harry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Duke Harry attended the event alone over the weekend, as his wife was unfortunately absent due to illness. He attended the One805Live Fall Concert, a charity event for Santa Barbara first responders in Carpinteria, California.
And this week, the Duke has done it again, landing in New York to attend a series of high-profile events.
On Sunday, Harry attended a dinner hosted by the World Health Organization. The event was themed “Violence Against Children and Its Impact on Mental Health.” Youth mental health is one of the causes that the Sussex couple's Archwell Foundation supports.
At the dinner, Harry was accompanied by Queen Mathilde, also of the Belgian royal family.
Harry has many other plans while on the East Coast.
“During the UN General Assembly High Level Week and Climate Week in New York, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, will be in town to promote his patronage and philanthropic initiatives,” the prince's representative said (via Town & Country).
“The Prince will participate in activities with African Parks, the HALO Trust, the Diana Award, and the Travalist. In addition, he will promote the work of the Archwell Foundation, a non-profit organization he co-founded with his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
There has been much speculation about Harry's upcoming visit to his home country and whether he will meet with his estranged family, as expected. While it is possible (though not certain) that Harry will meet with his father, King Charles, experts agree that it is basically unlikely that he will meet with his brother, Prince William.
Prince Charles reportedly declined to meet Harry when he visited the UK in May, citing his busy schedule, and William reportedly did not speak to his brother at all at his uncle Lord Fellowes' memorial service in August.
