Lily Collins of “Emily in Paris” fails to get into the sandwich store for “Vanderpump Rules”.

Lily Collins had the perfect plan to celebrate the release of “Emily in Paris” Season 4, and it involved a sandwich.

Appearing on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” on Sunday, September 22, Collins revealed that when the first part of the fourth season of “Emily in Paris” was released on Netflix on August 15, she really wanted a sandwich. Unfortunately, the sandwich store she chose, Something About Her, co-owned by “Vanderpump Rules” stars Ariana Maddix and Katie Maloney, was extremely crowded.

“I just want to say one thing,” she said on the Bravo chat show. 'I tried to go to 'Something About Her' Part 1 on the first day our show opened. Row down the block. Great news, by the way. But I couldn't buy a sandwich! I wanted a sandwich and I couldn't get one!”

.

Despite her disappointment at missing out on a Something About Her sandwich, Collins had nothing but good things to say about co-owner Maddix.

“The girls are on fire,” Collins said of the reality star, who starred in “Chicago” on Broadway and has hosted “Love Island” since the Scandabol news broke.

As for “Emily in Paris,” Collins' starring role in the Netflix hit is assured, as the series has already been renewed for a fifth season.

In an interview with InStyle in August 2024, Collins spoke about bringing a very unique character to life.

“Emily was written very specifically. She's Midwestern, young, a little naive, but very hungry to do her best.”

The character's clothing choices are a major focus of the show, and viewers regularly critique Emily's versatile style. When auditioning for the role, Collins gave considerable consideration to what she should wear.

“I don't want to overdo it,” she recalled. 'I don't want to offend. I don't want to underplay it. I need to make an impression.”
