Prince Andreu's infamous “Newsnight” interview is featured again in the new Amazon Prime Video miniseries “A Very Royal Scandal.

It was the interview that almost broke the Internet, and now it's being dramatized again, as Prince Andreu spoke with BBC Newsnight in 2019.

Amazon Prime Video will release a new miniseries, A Very Royal Scandal, on Thursday, September 19, which chronicles the inside story of the Prince's infamous interview about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

And while this is the second time this year that Prince Andrew's “Newsnight” moment has appeared on the small screen, Netflix's “Scoop” first aired in April.

While “Scoop” follows the story of BBC interview booker Sam McAllister, the Prime Video miniseries will interview the prince at Buckingham Palace in 2019 and “A Very Royal Scandal” told from the perspective of former BBC journalist Emily Maitlis, who is also one of the executive producers.

The three-episode show follows Maitlis, played by Ruth Wilson, from her attempts to secure the now-famous interview with Andrew to the aftermath of its broadcast.

Welsh actor Michael Sheen transforms into Prince Andrew in this miniseries, and “A Very Royal Scandal” also gives a peek into his life with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

The show follows the family over accusations that Prince Andreu slept with a then-17-year-old woman named Virginia Giuffre, who was trafficked and abused by Epstein in 2001.

Viewers also get a peek at how the royal family's private secretary convinced him to give an interview to “Newsnight” in an attempt to clear his reputation.

The miniseries shows Maitlis' stressful preparations for the palace interview, including a tense moment when Prince Andrew asks her if she has ever been abused.

The shaken journalist, who had been the victim of a stalker for decades, replied, “Nothing worthy of comparison.”

Prince Andrew's Newsnight interview effectively marked the end of his royal career, with his faltering reception (who could forget his Pizza Express alibi?) and public outcry forcing Lord York to step down from public service.

Queen Elizabeth's son settled with Juffrey for an undisclosed sum in 2022, ending the civil case against him.

However, his “Newsnight” interview lives on both IRL and Prime Video.
