For the past week, Jennifer Lopez has been riding her bike in the Hamptons and wearing increasingly breezy clothes. First it was a Chanel T-shirt and micro shorts. Then, Ralph Lauren paint-splattered white overalls. Today, July 23, it's a floral skirt set and fisherman sandals from the Hamptons in Mass.

Every time she rides her bike in the Hamptons, Lopez looks even freer and more relaxed than before. Perhaps leaving her heavy and rare Hermes bag at the villa has literally lifted a weight off her shoulders. The “On the Floor” singer's July 23 outfit was particularly romantic, with an off-the-shoulder crop top and flowing maxi skirt, both coated in a black and white floral pattern.

J.Lo is not only rolling along on her bicycle in a carefree, unburdened era amidst rumors of her separation from husband Ben Affleck. She's also experimenting with new shoe trends. The singer, slash actress, and slash-gloss lip lover also wore a platform espadrille twist on the fisherman sandal trend. The glamorous take on the nautical shoes that have been dominating street style this summer came courtesy of Dior, with three buckles climbing above the ankle and literally elevating the espadrille's sole.

“Favorite trends” don't happen overnight, and Jennifer Lopez has been hard at work pedal-testing hybrid sandals. A few days ago, she wore the same platform Dior espadrilles on another bike ride, along with a low-cut white dress and oversized sunglasses.

In addition to “fitting” into her bike ride over and over again, Lopez also wore ruffled maxi dresses and tiny micro-mini shorts to go dress shopping in the city. Those outfits were paired with footwear less practical than her caged fisherman sandals. At the gym in the Hamptons, she color-coordinates her outfit with a blanket-like cardigan and a pair of Allbirds sneakers.

This time tomorrow, Lopez will probably be biking past the paparazzi on stakeout in another effortless summer outfit, designed to feel the wind in her hair and the rain on her skin. I'll pass the time between now and then by buying her a matching set, hoping to feel as relaxed as she does.
