Kaia Gerber stopped wearing cutesy outfits in New York and went cutesy in Paris.

Attending the lavish Paris Olympics opening ceremony, Kaia Gerber once again coordinated in black and navy. This time she coordinated with her mother Cindy Crawford.

Kaia, a model and avid reader, wore almost black wide-leg jeans, a black crop top, and a coordinating cropped jacket. Her signature black ballet flats were also on the transatlantic flight. Her only other accessory was a pair of slim black sunglasses.

Her mother, supermodel Cindy Crawford, appeared at the opening ceremony in black cargo pants, a slouchy white tank top, and a cropped, sporty bomber-style jacket. And in a true mother-daughter moment, Crawford also wore black sunglasses.

In an Instagram story posted on July 26, Crawford tagged her daughter and geotagged their location. The duo is attending this year's Olympics with Omega Watch, and Gerber and her mother are global brand ambassadors for Omega Watch.

While many summer ensembles feature white dresses and sandals, Gerber has instead opted for darker shades inspired by the 1990s. She recently wore a black Dôen dress with the same flats and sunglasses in New York, paired with an asymmetrical slip skirt and black tank, for a '90s-inspired ensemble that was worn ahead of the 2024 Met Gala in May, where Nike and Bode's much talked-about She also appeared wearing a pair of “Nike It” sneakers, a collaboration.

When another It item from one of the many Olympic fashion collaborations hitting store shelves this week, Kaia Gerber will be wearing them. And Cindy Crawford will match hers.
