Brittany Mahomes, a close friend of Swift's, inadvertently showed off Swift's creative layering when she shared photos from the singer's performances in London and Amsterdam on Monday, July 15. Included were two snaps of what appeared to be a double date with their respective partners: Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Brittany's husband) and Travis Kelcey (Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Taylor's boyfriend). Taylor Swift is standing front row center in the group shot, hugging Brittany in a Cinderella blue drop-waist dress by Vivienne Westwood. A checkered corset by the same designer peeks out from beneath the midi's asymmetrical straps.

Not about the outfit, but another sweet detail: a photo shared by another couple who attended the night out, Summit Hogue and Miranda Hogue, shows Travis Kells holding Taylor Swift in a tender, protective hug.

The rest of Swift's double date night style (or triple date style) capitalized on her affinity for mixing big-cap luxury brands with familiar finds that even her fans could copy. She carried a heart-shaped bag from Vivienne Westwood and completed her look with $80 yellow sandals from Chinese Laundry. The color tones of the bag and shoes seemed to pick up the shades woven into the print of the checkered corset.

Fans on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter) noted that Swift closely replicated the styling from Vivienne Westwood's Fall 2024 lookbook.

Swift takes a lot of care to choose designers who hail from the cities she is visiting. If Swift, Kelsey, and Mahomes' double date had been in London, home of Vivienne Westwood, it would have been an extra apt choice. (It is not clear from Mahomes' post where the double date took place.)
