Daisy Edgar-Jones is taking fashion by storm. While promoting her natural disaster thriller “Twisters” this month, the star has made it her mission to raise her style profile with the help of Gucci, Chloé, and Victoria Beckham. And Daisy Edgar-Jones made that last act look like a breeze, wearing the naked dress craze twice in the span of 24 hours.

Yesterday, July 18, Jones stopped in Midtown for a taping of “The View” show. On her way to the venue, she appeared, coffee in hand, in an icy blue two-piece sheer look from Chloé's Fall 2024 runway. This elaborate sheer was paired with a fluffy, long-sleeved cropped blouse, a ruffled miniskirt, and matching wide-leg pants.

Dressed by celebrity stylist Dani Michelle, the actress accessorized her statement ensemble with black sunglasses, a chunky gold pendant necklace, and buttery tan over-the-knee leather boots, also by Chloé.

But Jones' dominance did not begin yesterday. The night before, the 26-year-old actress was photographed on the Upper West Side, wearing baby blue with a sleeveless black maxi dress from 16Arlington's Fall 2024 collection.

Her gown featured a drop-waist sheer bodice and a full pleated skirt. A Gucci horsebit shoulder bag, Coperni Orchestra heels, and Gucci black sunglasses completed the all-black look.

Jones' choice of loose and sheer can be called an ode to “method dressing” (her character Kate Cooper in Twisters is a tornado chaser), but it has dominated celebrity style on and off the red carpet for the past few years, with pros and cons There's no better way to create a look that's literally “blowing in the wind” than with the sheer trend.

But the near-naked vibe best describes her films. For example, last week, on July 9, the British actress was spotted off in London, where she embraced the trend in a black see-through blouse by Gucci. It was unbuttoned to reveal a lace bralette and tucked into a floral-printed midi skirt.

With the official release of “Twisters” today, July 19, Jones' press circuit storm is just about to blow over. Her effortlessly “gusty” look over the weeks will go down as one of her best (and most casual) nodes for the film.
